Sarah Louise Dix STUDIO

The studio is a funky teaching space in the heart of Godalming, Surrey offering upholstery workshops, courses.

Sarah Louise Dix, designer maker and traditional upholsterer set up the studio in October 2014.

Sarah, who originally studied fashion design and worked for Vivienne Westwood, teaches her now well-established traditional upholstery courses in the space.

She discusses and suggests upholstery and furniture design ideas with students to enable them to produce something unique and personal, taking upholstery to a whole new level.   

There is a fun atmosphere during the beginners one day weekend workshops where you will learn to upholster a beautiful beech wood footstool to take home and the buzz only heightens throughout the 10 week courses as students work on transforming their own items.
